CHI NEI TSANG

Not your average belly rub...

Chi Nei Tsang is the traditional Taoist healing technique of Chi Kung (Qigong) applied with gentle intention to the abdominal and thoracic areas, and spine.

CNT promotes optimal health of the internal organs, allowing them to work more efficiently. It supports better digestion, metabolism, detoxification, lymphatic, endocrine and immune function, respiration and circulation.

This gentle yet powerful modality can directly address long-lasting issues of the abdominal area, such as IBS, constipation, surgical scar adhesions, uterine fibroids, psoas/lower back tension, neurotransmitter/hormone imbalance, neurological disorders, and more.

Chi Nei Tsang gets to the underlying causes of manifested symptoms on many levels. Not only do we work with physical digestion, but emotional digestion as well. Therefore Chi Nei Tsang is effective at working with deeply ingrained issues including depression, anxiety, insomnia and much more.

As the manager of the Chi Nei Tsang Institute / TaoTouch, I’ve had the opportunity to train with and assist master instructor Gilles Marin for over 15 years.

Chi Nei Tsang can be its own 60 minute treatment, or added as part of a 90-120-minute combo session with deep tissue bodywork, therapeutic massage and/or sound therapy.

“I am so glad I found out about Chi Nei Tsang, and found David as a practitioner. Not many healers work with the abdominal area, but this is where I hold a lot of tension and have some long-term issues which I know are more than purely physical. I have noticed improvement on many levels. Thank you David!”

“My body loved the CNT session. It was pretty profound for me. I honestly felt like I had connection to my abdominal region for the first time in my life. We were saying ‘hello’ to each other back and forth. It was a sensation I had never had before!”
